Paynter Dixon’s long-term partnership with Dubbo RSL has seen the club diversify service offerings with a notable focus on community-based facilities.

In working with the Dubbo RSL to diversify its business, Paynter Dixon designed and constructed a heated 25-metre, FINA certified, indoor swimming pool. The project involved the removal of the existing outdoor pool and construction of the new facility between the existing Club and fitness centre.

The structure incorporated laminated timber frames and load-bearing precast concrete panels enveloped in precast concrete panels, Colorbond™ clad insulated panels and a glazed façade.

Construction was skilfully conducted between two existing buildings while maintaining public access to the Club.

The upgraded Aquatic and Health Club has become a staple of the Dubbo community, accommodating a range of activities from youth swimming classes to senior fitness water workouts.
