Club Parramatta wins MBA Award
The first stage of Club Parramatta has received industry recognition, with a Merit Award at the 2020 Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Awards.
The virtual event held last Friday saw the project win an accolade for new hospitality buildings in the $20-$50 million category.
Paynter Dixon successfully managed the project whilst the cultural heritage of the site was protected and recorded during the construction process.
Project Manager Jamie Vlatko says the win can be attributed to the efforts of the Paynter Dixon team and partnership with Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG).
“We are thrilled to receive the award as it further acknowledges the efforts of the team and represents the quality Paynter Dixon Construction delivers,” Mr Vlatko said.
“It was a great collaborative effort between CHRG and our team.”
Since its completion earlier this year, the Castle Hill RSL Group owned venue has operated as a flagship hospitality, leisure and entertainment destination for Western Sydney.
Stage two works are now underway which will see the old Club Parramatta site transformed into a multi-story carpark for club patrons and staff.
Work is on schedule for completion 2022.
