Broken Hill Musicians Club empowers members with accessibility
Paynter Dixon’s support of Broken Hill Musicians Club dates back to the 1990s when a major renovation almost doubled the venue’s size.
Fast forward to 2024 and our team returned to improve venue accessibility. New features include accessible toilets, additional ramps and the installation of a lift (which brought closure to a lift well inserted by Paynter Dixon 30 years ago).
“It’s a magnificent thing for people like myself who have a disability to have far easier access to the venue,” says Club President, Kim Evans.
For General Manager, Michael Boland: “We’re here for the members and to push the legacy of the club to ensure future generations out here in Broken Hill have a club they can be proud of.”
The renovation also delivered a new foyer, bar and pre-function space.
