Remediation project in busy centre of Sydney CBD.

The Chelsea is a well-known building in the busy centre of Sydney.

Located at 110 Sussex Street, the residential apartment complex has great views over Darling Harbour and to the north to Barangaroo.

With the passing of time the building’s exterior required repairs.

The building owners decided to also paint the exterior.

As a high rise building the work required swing stages (elevated platforms) to be used.

This added a complexity to the remediation project which included repairing concrete and render repairs.

The site remained “live” with residential and general foot traffic.

Despite the complexity, the work was completed on time and on-budget. (check)
