Through Early Client Involvement (ECI) and detailed planning, Paynter Dixon (PD) was able to build new facilities, refurbish existing services and carefully navigate a live environment.

Aged-care facility Fresh Hope Care sought to expand its capacity while also maintaining a seamless connection to the existing facilities.

After extensive design work, Paynter Dixon developed a construction plan for the site at Pendle Hill in Sydney’s west which would create new capacity, but also deliver functionality.

The scope of work included:

• 17 new units, taking the total to 74
• A major upgrade to the kitchen facilities
• An underground car park

The construction program was carefully drafted to minimise disruption to the facility which remained operation during building.
