Flood appeal morning tea
“Flour power” is a real thing, just ask the volunteer bakers of Paynter Dixon.
The square sum of $5,000 was raised at a recent flood appeal morning tea, with PAYCE Foundation generously matching staff donations.
The funds will go to the Salvation Army to support their response and recovery efforts. As of Monday, the Salvos had distributed over $2.1 million in flood assistance and in-kind support such as food parcels, clothing and household items.
We are also grateful of our bond with PAYCE Foundation and their commitment to helping the most vulnerable in the community. Executive Director of PAYCE Foundation, Will Morgan, spoke of the Foundation’s strategic philanthropic partnering at the morning tea (pictured below right with Paynter Dixon’s Executive General Manager, Matthew Greene).
As reported in the Impact Report for 2021, the Foundation donated over $3 million to 35 charities last year.
