A complex project completed with minimal disruption.
As part of an overall building expansion to Club Central Menai, the Illawarra Catholic Club
commissioned Paynter Dixon to undertake the design, authority approval and construction of a new building.
The building consisted of a three-storey above ground concrete framed structure with three levels of underground car parking.
The upper levels catered for a child care centre and child play centre.
The ground floor level utilised the structure above to create a generous porte cochére with VIP parking to enhance the sense of arrival to the club.
The underground car parking was designed to link directly with the existing car parking, effectively doubling the number of spaces on the site.
Included within the new structure was provision of an off-licence restaurant space that the Club could lease to external providers, with the aim to diversify income.
As part of the works, extensions were done to the indoor/outdoor gaming area and administration centre.
