Within months of opening, The Lady Banks Rooftop Bar has come into vogue as one of Sydney’s premier bar experiences. Boasting 360 degree views of the city skyline, the bar recently featured on Seven Network’s Sydney Weekender.

The modern and playful Lady Banks bar is located on the roof of the Flinders Centre commercial tower at Bankstown Sports Club. Paynter Dixon worked with the club to transform an unused roof top area into a major drawcard.

Remarkably, Paynter Dixon has worked with Bankstown Sports Club for over 30 years. Design and construction work has ranged from themed restaurants and bars to the commercial tower and a hotel extension above the club.

Appealing to a changing demographic is clearly working. As Sydney Weekender reporter, Karen Ledbury, notes: “Why head into the city for a night on the town when you can head here? It has food, cocktails, incredible sunsets, and it’s all spectacular!”
