Paynter Dixon has appointed Peter Cavallaro as the new General Manager of ACT and Insurance to support expansion plans into the nation’s capital.

Peter will play a vital role in the company’s management and operations in the ACT, while driving the continual growth of the insurance sector.

“ACT has always been an area of interest for the company with the objective of achieving geographical spread across regional NSW and the ACT,” Mr Cavallaro said.

“Establishing an office in Canberra will allow the company to capitalise on opportunities with new clients and qualify for government work.’’

Peter started his tenue with Paynter Dixon almost five years ago to open up opportunities in the commercial and hospitality sectors.

For the last twelve months, the experienced Business Development Manager has been steering the ship for Paynter Dixon’s thriving remedial sector.

“For the last year, remedial has been my main focus and working with Tim Kurniadi and the Remedial team has placed us in good stead.

Paynter Dixon is certainly on the journey to becoming one of the most trusted and successful remedial outfits servicing strata plans and commercial asset owners,” he said.

Peter’s experience will now combine to offer a range of services to the Canberra region.

“My role as General Manager for the ACT is to demonstrate the services and capabilities of the company and to tap into all the sectors in which we are proficient including insurance, remedial and commercial opportunities.’’

The new office will comfortably accommodate 12 people – a modern open plan design with meeting rooms, kitchen amenities and a boardroom.

Paynter Dixon has successfully completed a number of commercial jobs with plenty more on the horizon.

“Chris Jones and Paul Di Giglio are already doing a magnificent job for the insurance sector with plenty of live projects already underway in the Canberra region and in negotiations to convert many more.

“I’m there as a team player and to create a management framework and open up new opportunities for growth,” Mr Cavallaro said.

Peter will assume the role effective immediately and be based in Paynter Dixon’s Canberra HQ five days a week.

“I get excited by new challenges presented to me and look forward to the journey.”
