Paynter Dixon Business Development Manager Tim Kurniadi was pleased with the outcome of the project despite a number of challenging elements.
“There were many challenges with this project, the first being noise control due to the presence of hotel guests and surrounding residential apartments,” Mr Kurniadi said.
“Secondly, the Travelodge is in the middle of the CBD which meant two months lead times for any required road closures as well as all the other council requirements.”
“Despite these challenges the PD team managed to complete the job on time and on Budget.”
General Manager Robert McKenna was pleased with the minimal impact the works had on hotel operations.
He said the relationship with Paynter Dixon was ‘crucial’ to the project’s success.
“We had a fantastic relationship with our Project Manager, he kept myself and hotel management informed each day,” Mr McKenna said.
“Paynter Dixon are fantastic communicators, they really understood what we as hotel operators needed for the job to be successful in our eyes.”
