Paynter Dixon was appointed by Australian Turf Club to oversee the removal and replacement of non-compliant cladding on the iconic Queen Elizabeth II Grandstand at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
Clear communication and coordination of intensive works prevented disruption to the operational club. Namely, the race calendar, corporate events program, early morning horse training and other daily activities.
Our commitment to safety was evident in the rigorous processes and planning underpinning complex access requirements, from the transport of 8,000 prefabricated panels to site, through to manual handling and working at height.
In creating a 3D photographic model of the external grandstand through a point cloud survey, our Remedial team was able to pre-measure and then physically check measurements on site for pre-fabricated panels in production overseas.
This high standard of quality assurance ensured the seamless production and delivery of panels to site, on time.
