Carpet Court

In remediating a commercial facility damaged by hail, Paynter Dixon (PD) carefully disposed of hazardous materials, preserved the commercial goods, and even constructed a temporary office from which the business could operate.

Following the devastation of a hail storm, PD was engaged by Carpet Court to remediate the Fyshwick facility comprising an office, showroom and storage area.

The old-style building was no match for the storm, with hail puncturing through a roof constructed of hazardous asbestos materials no longer manufactured in Australia.

PD safely removed the hazardous materials and replaced the roof with a modern, Colourbond steel product.

To help Carpet Court remain on its feet while building repairs were carried out, our team constructed a temporary, shed-structure office from which the business could operate.
