In partnership with Paynter Dixon, Bankstown Sports Club embraced a bold vision vision of hospitality, transforming the unused rooftop of a commercial tower into an acclaimed venue which is popular with all age groups and challenges the city as a destination.

Our hospitality team worked closely with the club to turn the roof top area into an income generating asset. Located on the roof of the Flinders Centre commercial tower (which Paynter Dixon constructed a decade prior), views extend from the city through to the Blue Mountains. Patrons can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating complete with fire pits, soft lighting and uninterrupted panoramic views.

The Club was focused on creating an immersive hospitality experience with universal appeal. This approach has resonated deeply with younger patrons in pursuit of social media and ‘Insta-worthy’ moments.

Interior design was also a significant catalyst of the customer experience. The neutral tones, furniture selection and palette of fresh whites and creams, ensure that the immediate environment doesn’t compete with the signature food and beverages.

The work was carried out within a live operating environment requiring careful management of construction activities to avoid disruption to day-to-day activities of the club and commercial tower.
