Combustible cladding on multiple building facades has prompted extensive remediation.

Appointed as principal head contractor, Paynter Dixon is overseeing the removal of cladding, and the design, installation and certification of a replacement cladding solution.

A comprehensive methodology has been devised to provide access to multi-storey facades through elevated work platforms, fixed scaffolding, swinging stages and abseiling.

Working in a live environment, Paynter Dixon is constantly liaising with the facilities manager to flag work areas in advance and minimise disruption to residents. Design compliance for the replacement cladding is also being managed through the Design Building and Practitioners Act.
