A little about yourself?
I was born and raised in the hills district of Sydney and currently reside on the Northern Beaches. Hobbies include spending most weekends on a surfboard and spending time with my seven-month-old nephew and mates.
What attracted you to Paynter Dixon?
Growth and progression within the remedial industry was a big attraction for me. Paynter Dixon’s prominence within the remedial industry in a short period of time was something I wanted to be a part of.
What are some of the more challenging aspects of your job?
With the numerous stakeholders and retail and commercial personnel involved in this project, the key challenge has been client management and negotiating high risk access.
We’re relaying crucial information to a range of people, many of whom are unfamiliar with construction. So we need to communicate effectively and with the right level of detail at all times.
What is the most fulfilling aspect of your work at the moment?
Knowledge. The amount of experience gained in the areas of client management and specialised site access has been invaluable. We operate like a close-knit family and rely on each other for knowledge. The work can’t be done single-handedly.
Which company value best reflects yourself and the team at the moment?
We are creative problem solvers. Every day we face the challenge of operating in a high risk, specialist-access environment. We solve problems through cooperation, and that ultimately leads to a stronger culture of safety.
